# Subscription policy

## What a subscription is

A subscription repeats your order on a schedule you choose. You pick how often when you subscribe, and every order after the first arrives without you placing it again. Some plans are paid up front for a set number of orders instead.

## When it renews and bills

Each renewal is charged to the card you saved at checkout, on the date shown in your account. We email you a reminder before each renewal. If a payment does not go through, we let you know so you can update your card.

## Skipping and pausing

You can skip a renewal or pause your subscription from your account before it renews. A skipped renewal is not charged. A paused subscription stays paused until you resume it.

## Changing your plan

You can change what you receive or how often from your account. The change applies from your next renewal, at the price shown when you make it.

## Canceling

You can cancel from your account at any time. Canceling takes effect from your next renewal, and nothing more is charged after it. If you paid for a set term up front, it runs to its end and then stops.

## Refunds

Subscription orders follow our refund policy, the same as any other order. A renewal that has already been charged is refunded only as that policy describes.
